Lies Damn Lies and Statistics...
So I saw on the news that our Governor is claiming only a 4.5% rate increase this year in MNSure...

What was not pointed out from the media was the fact he arrived at that number by simply averaging the increase in the cost of the plans with no regard to how many people are on those plans.

1 - The lowest cost plans are going up 25%
2 - The lowest coast plan form last year is not returning at all skewing the data.

I'll buy you a donut if this reality even remotely impacts the Governor's race. Dayton is the epitome of the Teflon Don, amazingly enough not be being smart and savvy but by stupidly mumbling non-nonsensical things...

What an odd State, politically.

I think I am going to travel up to Minnesota's 8th Congressional District, claim my name is Pedro Rodriguez and that the poll watchers are racist if they don't give me a ballot, and then vote for Stuart Mills. Come with me BIE, we'll vouch for each other!

It helps the the media here takes to govs press releases and reports them liek news rather than looking into the "facts" he presents.

Tempting.... If I still lived up in Little Canada I'd be down 03-wink but Im in the south suburbs now... The Mills thing is drving me nuts though, it shows the total hypocrisy of the DFL..

Things Mills and Dayton have in common

1 - Born into money
2 - Went into the family business
3 - Keep most of their assets out of Minnesota for tax reasons

I've not seen one issue add, outside of the Minimum wage, out of the Nolan Camp. The rest of the adds are all "Mills is rich and from a rich family". I've not seen a Mills add yes so I am guessing either they are all on in Duluth or that he is just going through the motions.

When we were in Ely three weeks ago, we heard a ton of Mills ads on the radio.
