UNH game tailgating.
If you're planning to go to the UNH game and want to tailgate you must pre-purchase spots on Boulder Field. Parking for UNH Homecoming games is notoriously awful and the school has gone to pre-paid parking to help the situation. This is good for us because historically we would not have been able to get on Boulder Field.
The link to buy spots for our game is below. Simple process and you can buy more than one spot. Just open an account and then select our game. They will mail the passes.

Purchased!
I've never flown to a game before, so I'm not sure how to handle tailgating - but it should be an experience :).

UNH is a fun trip, even of you do not go to Salem Mass. while on the way to Portsmouth. There is a grocery store not too far from most of the Hotels and they make BIG and tasty subs and there is a Panera nearby.
One of the funniest flashing signs I have ever seen was situated near the tailgate lot flashing, No Alchol after 1 p.m. and it was a noon start and they are like W&M and allow halftime tailgating obviously nobody paid attention to that sign, including all of us.

So this weekend I plan to kind of figure out our specific plans for the UNH weekend. We're flying in to Boston Friday morning before and then driving out to NH, enjoy the sites a bit, probably go to that restaurant in Maine, etc.
So for Saturday. What time does tailgating start? Do you guys usually just pickup prepared food, or is there some other veteran move for eats at the game? Anything else I should be considering that newbies to the fly and tailgate experience don't think about?

33 where are you staying ? Myself and others are staying at The Best Western next to the Holiday Inn . Not too far away is a grocery store and the sandwiches they make are large and are pretty good plus you can pick up tailgating necessities...brews, chips, ect. We can all meet up and go together if you like . There may be some bar hopping going on Friday evening in downtown Portsmouth, if you enjoy that sort of thing.

Staying at "The Port Inn". I think it's near where a bunch of other guys are staying.
I have a parking space in the UNH lot, so getting over there shouldn't be a huge issue. Keep me informed about bar hopping, may or may not be in. I'm a boring tea-totaller myself, but I do enjoy the camaraderie still .

I can't make the trip up, but I know the one thing that a lot of people forget when flying somewhere is seating at a tailgate. Great food and drink is key, but so is a chair to sit and be lazy while enjoying the fun.

So, uh, do you just blow some money at Walmart on chairs and leave them?

That or find the sucker who drove and try and convince him to carry it for you.
