RE: Inevitable TV question
I had absolutely no problem with Madizone on Windows 8.1/Chrome last week. Other than a little lag thanks to the Chromecast, it made it through the whole game fine.

Couldn't get through Albany's registration today thanks to a bad error, so I ended up with no choice but to watch it on the free stream.

People don't know how good we have it even when they're looking at what other schools have - the scoreboard and radio feeds mixed together. We have an entire person dedicated to it at JMU. I haven't had problems with MZ this year, so I can't speak for others if they are but it's way better than this Albany bush league stuff. Glad I didn't pay for it.

2015, I'm glad you have had little trouble with Stretch Internet. I for one have a very difficult time watching the choppy, constant buffering picture on their live video streams. My picture quality tonight was excellent. It did start to buffer during that final minute of play. When it did I would pause for a few seconds and then it would be great again. I do believe the buffering tonight was on my end rather than the feed. With Stretch, I don't have the option to pause. It is simply not available. The same goes for volume control. During the half I like to switch to another game and turn the volume down low and just barely audible. Then turn the game I've switched to, I turn up to a normal listening level. Again, this is not possible with Stretch Internet.

Now, if you want to compare the broadcast and the low quality announcers, JMU does a good job, but that's not Stretch. The one thing that I did like tonight were the replays they showed. JMU has always steered away from replaying anything controversial, so that part of tonight's broadcast gets a thumbs up from me. I thought tonight's video quality was exactly what I expect from a stream and I simply cannot view what we have been receiving from Stretch.

One question, are you using an Apple product? Some people are having a lot of luck with i-phones. I would love it if it were to be just my connection or my hardware, but I can watch live video streams from every source imaginable ie XFINITY, Firstrowsports, wizwig, watchespn, and many more, and the only live video stream I have any problems with is Stretch Internet. Furthermore with Neulion, which is what we had last year I experienced nice picture quality. By the way, Neulion is who produced Albany's feed tonight.

The bufferering at the end was not you, it was the stream. We had the same problem. We were dying. Took 20 seconds to find out what happened with that first FG attempt. And what are you talking about with replays on controversial plays? They don't do it for JMU (which was annoying), but name one penalty or major play the replayed tonight? They didn't go back and look at anything, especially the things they harped on all night.

I agree no pause (especially in archived video...wtf?) and volume buttons is awful in Stretch, but other than that I can't say I had any other problems last week.

I had zero issues with the feed today. The video quality was excellent. I have had no luck with Madizone this year.
