On TV it didn't appear that the student section was really emptying out until the 4th qtr. Wish there were more shots of the crowd in the grandstand. The few shown were looking up at the stands from the near sideline, couldn't really get a sense of how crowded it was or wasn't.

I am a parent and a relatively new supporter of JMU football. At the Delaware thriller and at the Towson drubbing, it was clear that the gold section was sparsely populated.

A lot of them stay in the club area and never come outside, especially when the weather isn't perfect. For how much they pay, they sure are disinterested to stand around talking, eating and drinking.

Attendance was 24,113 and I'd say that's a realistic number. It was a good crowd, good atmosphere, especially considering the poor weather leading up to it.
Thank goodness for parents saying, "we bought tickets, we're going, and what else are we going to do right now?" to their student.

Harder to stay when you're the one getting blown out and not the one doing the blowing out. Ole Miss totally disrupted the Aggies game plan last night and it showed. TAMU couldn't get anything going until the fourth really, and it was mostly over by then. It was also the highest attended game in SEC history...I think their fans will be fine.
