Again I'll stress how disappointed I am we don't play Troy and App St this year. GS will make for a great game in SM though.

These officials must not have been very good at anatomy. That hit was at the waist.

Bad call even with video review. He made the first down.

That very last replay they did on TV you can just make out the shadow of the ball on the ground. To be honest I'm fine that APP made it on 4th because now it becomes academic but it did indeed look like he didn't make the first down.

Who didn't know that was going to be a QB draw? First error by GS I've seen.

Shadow cannot be accurate unless the lights were directly over the ball.

Nice showing by Southern on a Thursday crowd wise. The font though on midfield... make it more solid.

Yes, agreed. Like the lights of say a football stadium...

Since you brought up lighting, Southern needs to add a few more. I read ESPN had to bring in a few to have sufficient light for the tv broadcast. Stadium and crowd looks great.

I'll go ahead and say it. We're probably going to get a penalty for our students throwing those eagle heads on the field. Sorry. They do appear to make great frisbees and we have a history, albeit distant, of throwing things on the field even when it doesn't merit it.

Those look really cool, but with our previous transgressions in the student section, they probably should not have been handed out.

They do. They look amazing. I've already txt'd friends at the game telling them I want one but yeah, we should not be trusted with things that can get airborne.

If you stand in front of a car's headlights and hold a football,
would the shadow of the football be directly under the football.
No.
