BOTH games against power five conference opponents featured lightning delays. Who the hell is going to sit through a monsoon to watch a team that went 1-11 last year minus the hardcore fans? You had maybe 300 people at the pitt game. You probably have maybe 5000 all year in the stands, even with 8 home games (getting a boost by marshall when we play there, we will have 1k or more at that game). Boyh of our home games were played in rain, one in a monsoon. Ylu have fans or don't. Even when FIU was a bowl team a few years back you just had a couple thousand there.

Just accept what i is and move on. FIU shouldn't be cusa. It was the one bad deceision we made. Google FIU attendance tale and watch the youtube video.
Their AD is getting paid attendance bonuses for the numbers they report.

They won a share of a title in 2010 at 7-6.... 7-6. The sunbelt title doesn't mean too much. Also, we beat their best team ever in a bowl game the following year with a bad marshall team. Its the sunbelt shared title in a terrible year, a title 4 years ago, and by a uab ream that has never won a title of any kind and only 1 bowl game appearance in their history. Thats why its funny. Its out of right field and meaningless to the point that FIUs program is in shambles.

So, Louisville fans were insufferable snobs, then they left and we had Memphis. Then they left and we had ECU. Now we have Marshall, apparently.

Nah, just the one guy who isn't old enough to remember Marshall winning the MAC.

Anything over 20k is decent. Over 30k is respectable. Anything under 15k is very poor and true attendance less than 10k is ATROCIOUS.

I hate that Marshall is associated with schools who average a legit 3,000-4,000/game. Thats pitiful.

I don't want to leave TBH, I love CUSA. Just wish we didn't have to share this conference with teams that average 3,000-4,000 actual people at a game.

Lighten up or learn to count. I'm hoping there was a little sarcasm in that number but there were way more than 300 fans at the rice game. It didn't help that the camera crew kept showing the away side of the field. They did show the home side a couple times and you could see a decent crowd. I'm not saying it was great but it was decent. Of course most of the stadium looks empty when your playing in 70,000 seat stadiums like Rice and UAB

UAB plays in a 72K seat tomb. The cameras have their back to the home side (yes, when you have a stadium that big, and average less than 30K, there is a "home" side). You see what the camera shows you, the visitors' side, which in some cases makes up 5-10% of the people in the stadium.

Ok. All report tickets sold. Only a few show a disparity that is laughable. Ill lay off making them feel even worse about it. Sorry fiu fans.

Such bs lol. There are pictures all over the net showing the stadiums and exposing the attendance. Whatever helps you sleep at night. Between 25-30k is just fine with me. When we have upper 20's, our stadium is loud and a great atmosphete. I am with flyhawk, its a shame some teams only have 3k or less actually show up. And while all report tickets sold, most actually have people associated with those and it may be off 10%..... not off 98%.

I go to games a Legion Field. I really don't give a damn if you believe it or not.

Take those same "upper 20's" and put them in a stadium that holds 3 times that, and see how raucous it is.

What he doesn't realize is his entire stadium full could be placed on our home side out of camera view.

I have no problem with UAB. I think you guys are an established FBS program and I respect you guys as a CUSA member. I respect you guys even more because of the uphill battle you guys are constantly fighting.

It's not directed at you. Just the Still Jonsing replacement that happens to be a Marshall fan.
