I should get a medal for going to Statesboro as many times as I have.

Believe you are due the Foreign Legion Medal with Oak Clusters.
Yell your head off though.

RE: yes!!!!
Last time I was in Statesboro for a game, I parked as far away as I could and in the clearest area possible in the lot. With an expectation of being harangued by GSU'rs I opened the door. Without disappointment I was immediately accosted by some drunkards from about a hundred yards away who sallied forth quickly at a trot about six of 'em, just to be in the presence of Greatness and a shiny new Chevy without primer.

As I raise my Block A flag they start askin me questions bout what was I Doin there? and how much I was gonna cry after the game? etc etc They even said they had a goat for me? I told 'em I'd gladly pop a 12 gauge in it throw it in the cooler and feed it to my Pits at home, funny thing, they never brought it over?
After a pre game snack o Nabs an Cheerwine my 5 year old and I decided to make our way to the stadium. On our half a mile walk nary a GSU tailgate did we pass without curses being hurled our direction and twice even directed at the kiddo, the salty dog language came mostly from the women! WTF? Alas there where a few memorable knuckledraggers whose M O would be to get as close as possible then with spittle slinging scream at full volume at us. Not sure if they were trying to be loud or just eager to share their halitosis? A by then cowering kid and I entered the game and had a drink hurled our way from the student stands filled with tack nails and battery acid. after the first Qtr with the game in hand, went back to the car with now a very shaken 5 year old and again we must weave our way past several high dollar donor lot drunks, who seeing our bereaved state decide its better to give the finger than helping hand, oh boy. Several old coots using the planted trees openly as urinals disgusting. Flag's gone from car, piss on the doors, magnets ripped up, flagpole rammed through passenger window, after game pizza stolen and trampled into the ground around the car. App inhales vigorously scratched into paint on hood. Two of Statesboro's finest Fifes standing 30 feet away they say there is nothing they can do about it with a giggle. All this before the Half pm me and I'll tell ya the rest.04-jawdrop

It was about that time that I realized that my "son" was about 8 stories talk and a crustacean from the protozoic era! He looked at me and said "dad I need about tree fiddy"
