Could not find where he had played AAU for anybody else this spring/summer before this.

Video of dunk yesterday:

The team is scheduled to play in the remaining 2nd and 3rd July evaluation periods.

Possible he was just fulfilling a prior commitment by playing this week, but, otherwise, doesn't sound like a recruit who has decided to grab a generous offer and run with it in 2017.

Think this year's team is a done deal.

Or, depending on how it was left with Aleks, he wants to see what shakes loose offer wise during the AAU tournament period before making a decision. I'm with you though, I think the team is what it is.

RE: 2017 Men's Basketball Recruiting
The transfer grad from Florida was officially denied by the NCAA several weeks ago.

Barring the late recruitment of a big man nobody wants just to fill out the roster and put a body in there to give Knight some rest during games we are, as others have reiterated, finished for 2017...at least for big men.

Again, the staff may want to contemplate an all-student body tryout to get a couple of former high-school players at W&M to fill out the roster for practice purposes.

On a lighter note, Knight has a chance to be the best center in the CAA this year. If he can just stay healthy and out of foul trouble we'll be okay. It isn't like the league is loaded with 6'10" kids who can run the floor, score around the basket, play the pick and roll, and block shots. I think we might have something here. The more I think about this, Tony may put in some sort of defense oriented trapping scheme when Knight is out to reduce the shot clock and limit our half court defense exposure. Our coaches know what hand they've been dealt.

Congrats to him and his family.

Saw David in the pic with Bryce and family and Mooney on UR's campus today....blasphemy 05-nono

I wonder? Did the Tribe even try to recruit this kid? If not, why not? One would think we had a good relationship with the family after David's success at W&M. And if the kid is good enough to be recruited by Richmond.................

There's more to that than meets he eye.
