Game 4 - Lafayette
Many of us watched the Pards beat us at home two years ago in the pouring rain. We also attended the game in Easton where we pounded them 34-6 behind 100+ yard performances from Abdul-Saboor and Ballard. We carried the ball for 245 yards to Lafayette's 73...of course, a chunk of that was Graham's long run.
We're not facing the same QB this year as current Sophomore QB Drew Reed started the final 6 games for Lafayette last year on his way to earning the CFPA Freshman of the Year Award as well as several PL Rookie of the Week honors. Reed is a very accurate QB so our DBs will have to match up closely.
The Pards game against Robert Morris last week is a toss out; W&M is more closely compared to their opening opponent, top 35 Sacred Heart. SH took Lafayette to the woodshed on the ground rushing 47 times for 182 yards and 2 TDs. Lafayette managed just 98 yards on the ground and 229 yards of total offense. Speaking of Robert Morris, maybe Christian will get the scoop from his brother and RMC QB, Luke Brumbaugh, about what we should expect.
Pards fans (on AGS) view W&M has the Goliath to their David - see 1 Samuel, Chapter 17 to find out how that battle ended.
7:00 kick-off and Family Weekend so try to be there. Unlike the HU game, I have several hours to get there so no amount of traffic will keep my family away this time!

Game 4 - Lafayette
Would like to see the passing offense improve. I guess wet balls contributed to a few dropped passes, and the protection left something to be desired. If we can get Ballard, Reeves, and Dedmon on some more plays it will open up more room for Tre.

Tribe ranked #13 in the TSN (and AGS) poll. I really hope we play to our ranking.

I know we're overly critical, but I feel like we haven't played like the #13 team for an entire game yet.
We saw glimpses in the first half of HU and NSU.
I think we have the TALENT to be the #13 and agree that I would like to see us put it together for Lafayette, rather than after we get into conference play.

Maybe we can see more throws deep, I like down the middle. Why not another pick six?

What about going no huddle in honor of playing the team that invented the huddle?

I'd like to see us spread the wealth around at wide receiver. Dedmon didn't have a single target against NSU

Good point and I'd like to see Reeves get some looks, too. Maybe Cluley has had to rush through his progressions and he'll pass to the depth guys when he has a pocket? T. McBride and Ballard are gone after this season so we need to get Dedmon and Reeves involved assuming they're open.

If our receivers have separation speed; why not go deep 3 or 4 times a game? We've got a gun slinger back there ( remember Ken Stabler?) let him show off that arm.

SoCal Frank, I agree in principle. Though i'd prefer more short and intermediate routes that get him into a rhythm.
One thing I did notice is that Cluley does not seem particularly comfortable with the naked boots and roll outs.
The offensive line has not been protecting him that well the last few weeks. I think Eric Hensley has played well, however Bo Revell was like having another tackle and I know I for one did not appreciate just how important Bo was to our offensive line play the last few years, which has been excellent. We may have struggled to throw the ball what Grahrio, but we could block.

Could someone explain this to me? I've seen it referenced a few times and have no idea what it's referring to

A long standing debate about the best halftime entertainment, and our lack of a marching band. Frisbee catching dogs were a huge hit a few years ago, at least among the aberrant crew that frequents this place.

Unfortunately, the dog got hit by lightening several years ago, thus the new policy of evacuating the stadium every time it rains. Fortunately, no one has yet been hit by lightening in the QB Club Tailgate area [which has never been evacuated] right next to the stadium - go figure..
