Good lord. Ok, I know it's my fault for going over there but the delusions of grandeur are astounding. We have had our runs against teams we just couldn't beat and I know eventually those come to an end. I don't fault them for thinking they can win, but what's going on over there is just crazy. One poster talking about how that won't have to open the play book and can save it for ole miss. Another talking about all the reps the back up qb will get when they're blowing us out. One saying we can write our Obit now etc. etc. etc.

Memphis, you are 1-5 against us and that one win came when our all conference qb got suspended and we were trying to run a read option offense with a lead footed qb. I know that big win against Austin Peay was exciting and not getting blown out by UCLA was major improvement but stop the crazy talk.

It's their board and they're allowed to be delusional on their board...lol.

Their own little universe where the laws of physics don't apply. Yep, they've been that way pretty much forever. It is pretty funny stuff.

It's not that your fans are proud of their team, it's that they're stupid.

My favorite post so far has been something to the tune of "They just got lucky to catch us in a bad 6 year stretch..."

Also, a word to my fellow Blue Raiders - my advice is to avoid the Memphis board this week. The level of delusion in that fan base is dang-near unrivaled. The best thing you could do is just avoid it altogether, you will save yourself a lot of time and potential injuries from incessant hysterical laughing.

I mean, delusions of grandeur against MT seem to be the norm. Just do what we do every other year - ignore the "We'll blow 'em out LOL" calls of certain Tigers fans and show up to play (and hopefully win).

Memphis idiocy aside this game is going to be the most difficult in the series. I believe they are improved. They always have a very big defensive front that is capable of giving our run game fits.

This one is not going to be easy.
