Goodness gracious if someone doesn't get fired!! I will start a petition if need be!!!!!!

Losing to a team that was, until a short time ago, a D2 school has to be the final nail in the coffin.

He's gone.

He needs to either figure it out or step aside and not tarnish his own accomplishments Bobby Bowden style.

I wonder if Blakeney has just gotten lazy with recruiting. Troy's last recruiting class was kind of WTF .

What is the problem right now, Trojans? Is it a lack of talent, poor coaching, etc?

Everything! All we do is throw screens, our defense has been pure trash for the past few years, and all Blakeney wants to do is promote JUCO players

I hope he is smart and that Troy's administration does the same with him that FAU did with Howard Schnellenberger and have him "retire" with grace and dignity. It appears he has lost his mojo but it cant be denied what he has done for Troy Football.

Not trying to flame...jus an honest question to get some Troy fan opinions. Do you think that the last couple of years may have been a result of relying heavily on JUCO recruits? I know that Troy used that very well and had some good teams but it appears that Troy has taken 37 JUCOs over the past 4 years. Hard to get teams to come together and develop with that kind of short term fixes IMO. Again, not a flame but just want your opinions.

I'm not dismissing this loss or Troy or Blankeny.

But last year, ACU ( who like App and GS, has a history of
success at the lower levels ) came to NMSU and played tough.
The Aggies had a two score lead late, but ACU scored a TD,
recovered the on-side kick, and but for a last play of the game
stop at the goal-line, would have won.

Now, if Troy this year is comparable to NMSU last year, they have a problem.

But ACU has always had a spirit about them.

Would you fire the rest of the sbc coaches who embarrassed the conference yesterday?
0-10. Sounds like a larger problem than just Blakeney.
