UTEP will be wearing their white unis tonight. They are doing a white for the game.

Mean while NMSU will be wearing:

First time I will see them wearing black unis. They have worn black pants in the past, but never jersey's to my knowledge.

42-24. A few defensive stops and maybe could have won it. As many Frosh as we can play, nothing by high hopes. I love that they did not quit.

From what I saw of this game NMSU defense needs tons of work.

Oh yes, dead on. UTEP could be a 3-0 team right now. Their talent level is much better, but the sky is the limit for our young guys

Strangely, NMSU D held the UTEP back below his average ( 7yds instead of 8yds a carry ).

The miners Oline is pretty big and good - they have a pretty good recipe: run, control the clock,
and only throw when you have to.

The Aggies were physically outmatched against this.

The offense did reasonably well, except for the two picks.
