No but there are a couple Air Force bases in San Antonio and I know they promoted it there.

Corpus is a reasonable drive, but more importantly Texas is a popular retirement state. It is reasonable to believe that quite a few Navy and Marine vets are within a few hours of San Marcos and will make the drive.
From what I heard, they booked up hotels and the convention center in New Braunfels. Also, some Navy vet is hired A local BBQ joint to cater their tailgate. Their order was for 1000+ including some big name alumni... Rumors include Cowboys great Roger Staubach and the Admiral himself David Robinson

A Staubach or Robinson sighting at Bobcat Stadium on ESPNews with the sell-out would be incredible.
