please feel free to plug your school's official/unofficial message board here to show why the "MAC has like 250x the presence" on this board.

I'd be delighted to see a real big time Big 10 base here.

We need a big conference aboard NCAAbbs.

This may shock you:

Fans on CUSAbbs outnumber fans on Big10bbs nearly 350:1

Because you still don't get it. We don't post under the conference banner, we post under our individual team boards.....A CONUSA board for say East Carolina wouldn't do very well compared to a Michigan State board, because not many people would visit it.

Therefore, MAC/CONUSA schools form boards for the ENTIRE conference on dinky websites like this.
Therefore, explaining the "350:1" post difference.

I'm outta here, this board sucks, I'm going back to the draft. http://www.spartantailgate.com/forums/show...ead.php?t=65002

We have team boards, which we can and do customize. So that's a poor excuse. Your assumptions are way off base as well, and they're making an ****** of you. Over 50% of the people on CUSAbbs are Memphis fans.... their team board here is *extremely* active.

In fact, the Memphis board here is more active than that Michigan State board.

Wow. Guess our "dinky" setup appeals to alot of people, excluding the irrationals like yourself.

You don't like our setup? Fine. However, most rational people who don't like our setup don't bother to register and whine like a 2 year old.

You're right. You guys don't give a rat's arse about your conference. Therefore, you only post on your school's board.

Funny thing is that other conferences like PAC-10, SEC, ACC, and the Big East have a lot more posts than the Big Ten and Big 12 do here. I guess the Big Ten and the Big 12 are in a level all their own.

Seriously though, I can't understand how you guys don't want to have a conference forum where you can talk amongst all the teams in the Big Ten. Are you guys that stuck up about your own team that you don't want to talk to other fans from your conference?

Your point about an ECU board not doing well because there are not enough fans is rediculous. Look at the Toledo forum on the MAC boards. That is just a team forum and it is fairly busy for this time of year. Look at the Memphis forum on the C-USA boards. That place is very busy.

Your stereotyping doesn't mean jack. Get a clue.

By the way, not all Big Ten boards are hopping. Go to the Minnesota board. They have one on Rivals and an independent one using EZBoard (I am not even going to count their Insiders board because there has been exactly 3 posts in the month of July so far). Add up those two Minnesota boards and they are much slower than the Toledo forum here.

Take a look at Indiana's two main boards (Rivals and Insiders). Combined they are slower than the Toledo forum here.

Take a look at Wisconsin. I hope you can find more than just their Rivals and Insiders boards. I did a search and that was all I found. They have combined for about 25 total posts today!

I would look at more, but I am tired of trying to find a busy team board. I know that Penn State, Michigan, and Ohio State have busy boards; but I have a feeling that is about it for the Big Ten.

The main Wisconsin message board is at http://www.badgermaniac.com and it is pretty active. But you are right about Minnesota and Indiana, but I think that has more to do with people not having computers and the internet in rural southern Indiana and arctic Minnesota.

Also http://www.bucknuts.com probably gets more activity than this entire site combined, so it really is all dependent on the school. It's hard to get people to leave the rivals and insiders sites that specifically cater to their school with recruiting updates etc.

You are right about Ohio State. Like I said OSU, Penn State, and Michigan are different. I checked out that Wisconsin board. A little busier than the other, but still only about 30 posts for the whole day on their football board. I don't call that jumping.

Outside of the big 3 I mentioned, there isn't a tremendously active board for the Big Ten.

By the way, your point of Minnesota fans not having computers is funny but not true. There is actually a big Internet market in the Minneapolis area. Co-workers from the company I work at have gone to training there and even though outside of the actual city is pretty rural, most of the hotels have Internet hookup in them even.

Though as I say over and over again "this board has potential"
But As Adam said I'll stick with the RCMB for now and btw it had "2300+ posts yesterday"
However the idea of a popular conference wide board is promising.
