You sure about this?
It's in Chuck's letter and not said but obvious is that fans can't buy the stickers for them (improper benefit, the wrath of the NCAA).

The liberal reference was merely to point out how differently they interpret /revise the events of history to fit their agenda.
But here's the thing.
Whose intent do we look at when dealing with the Bill of Rights? The framers who never intended Amendments 1-9 to apply to the states? The Congress that put forward the 14th Amendment?
Then you have a host of issues that just never got litigated. There wasn't any significant Establishment cases to go up until the late 19th century and that one dealt with Federal hospital funding, I don't think there was a significant state establishment clause case until the 1940's.
I don't think the framers ever dreamed the commerce clause would be used the way it is but then they also never thought you could wake up in Savannah and eat lunch that day in New York, much less make that trip in a week. While they certainly understood buying goods like furniture and even books from out-of-state (or another country) the idea of walking into a store in Richmond and buying fresh food from Florida, California or Washington was beyond belief just as unbelievable that there would be a place there where customers are there from Pennsylvania, New York, and North Carolina who all left home that morning.
For all the talk that circulates of not following the constitution, the greatest example is the 14th Amendment. When the south was denying voting rights, section 2 provided their congressional delegations were to be reduced in size but it never happened. Section 3 barred participants in insurrection from holding public offices of the United States but Joseph Wheeler was a Confederate general and was elected to the US House and seated and later served as US general in the Spanish-American War (reportedly yelling during one battle "Come on boys, we've got the damn Yankees on the run!").

So Jesus told the truth when he said it would happen. Never quite have understood my fellow Christians who get weepy over every offense when it's in the book, it's what's been promised.

See, we were having a great conversation about Christianity, and then you had to go and bring Jesus into it.

1. The decals were designed by Blake Anderson and then approved by a 15 member Team Leadership Council. They were then approved by the AD. From that point the school used public funds to buy the stickers. From that point, The team held a ceremony in which they together affixed part of the decal to the helmets, while team managers did the rest later.
2. This was done without consulting University Counsel. When The school's counsel was made aware of the decal, it was requested that the decal be modified because using public funds to pay for it violated the Establishment Clause of the constitution.
3. From this point forward, students will be allowed to place the full cross decal on their helmets if they so wish, however the student must purchase that sticker with their own funds, and may not use public money to do so.
Seems reasonable

I might have made a plus sign out of mine, but I would have had a plan, right before game time, I would have pulled out a white sharpie, made it back into a cross and passed the pen around. The Team did it great, if The Cross offends you don't buy a ticket. That simple.

You all haven't solved this yet?
Just put one sticker that looks like this:
on everybody's helmet.
And add the atheism symbol:

Wait, what?
As in the Army ( which is an acknowledgement of the tribal nature of sports teams ), the line is,
it doesn't matter what colour you are because here, you're all green.
So too, we want the identity of our team - Aggies! - instead of race, creed, gender, political party, etc. etc.
Since the helmet is part of the gear to advertise the university and team, don't put ANY stickers on them unless it's part of a TEAM policy.

I am retired military, I get the "green" thing too, and I have no problem with the promotion of Christianity as I am a Christian, but all arguments aside from representing or promoting any faith, the team was celebrating the lives and contributions of two individuals and they should be able to do that without outside interference.
