What's the record crowd at Ladd(USA game and overall)?

Right now it's 26,783 for a USA. So we're going to shatter that record. Overall I guess it's around 40,000.

What is the record for a Senior Bowl?

I hope we can get a home game with Air Force. There are a lot of Air Force personel and retirees in the area. Brookley Field was an AFB until 1969. Mobile would love to see the Air Force return, at least for a day.

Keesler AFB >> 60 miles
Eglin AFB >> 120 miles
Maxwell >> 220 miles

I don't see AF @ USA being a barnburner. I'm retired USAF and I've never given a rat's A$$ about their football team. I'm a Texas A&M & USA fan through and through. Oh, and a SBC fan as well (GO BELT VS OOC OPPONENTS!!!!!).

South Alabama football team could produce trifecta; Jags' volleyball, soccer teams get wins over MSU

We would have 9 conference games then alternate USM and UAB.

Example:

2020 at Southern Mississippi
2021 UAB
2022 Southern Mississippi
2023 at UAB

If we rotate them, we could keep two games open on the schedule. One money game against an SEC opponent. Then you have one more to schedule another G5 opponent.

9 games SBC
1 game USM/UAB
1 game SEC
1 game G5

With this setup, USA could sell out two games a year in short order

Troy
UAB/UAB

I think Mississippi State will be back. Which other teams in CUSA other than Louisiana Tech and Tulane would schedule a home vs home?

I don't think I've ever heard of teams signing contracts that work that way. You don't sign home & homes with teams skipping seasons.

Ga St and So Bama both come to Legion Field next year starting home and home series BTW. Both get a return game in 2016.

I'd rather play So Bama in basketball than Troy St too, so maybe we can get a home and home linked contract going similar to what UAB and Troy State had over the last few years. Basically the contract was that whoever hosted in football would be the away team in basketball. It worked out well except for the RPI hit that we took in basketball.

Just last week it was announced that App State signed a home and home skipping many seasons with Wyoming. 2015 in Boone and something like about six years later on the return game.

USA and Ladd Stadium made some money on this game:

From al.com:

But Saturday's game against a Southeastern Conference school generated more revenue than "five combined USA games" during the 2013 season, and made more money than the GoDaddy and Senior bowls combined.

40,646 was the capacity before they built the luxury boxes and expanded the press box. The question was, "What was the Senior Bowl attendance record?"
