Ever considered the fact that Murfreesboro, TN isn't exactly a desirable place to spend a Saturday? I'd rather watch on TV and NOT get tetanus.

Maybe this will entice some more to come down.

Why? Are you having trouble making the mandatory 15,000 in your stadium?

Sorry, but even though I don't have a dog in this fight, it was too easy. You know I love y'all. 03-wink LOL

Fear of getting shot walking through the hood is a good deterrent as well.

Believe me compared to Bowling Green, KY Murfreesboro is paradise. So, that's not it. Nice try though! Hope you enjoy watching the game from your trailer in Redneckville, NC or where ECU is located.

If that joke wasn't so irrational, it would almost have been funny. Mutsboro has literally nothing going for it.

It really has been strange how poorly they travel for football. Our box was above the vistor section for years and our new one is still in close by and they bring incredible small crowds considering the distance. I know there were some bad seasons mixed in but its sad. They bring good basketball crowds, excluding the last one, but football has been bad. No excuses this year for either fan base. Both teams are coming off good seasons and and had reasonably good starts. It's suppose to be 74 degrees and sunny. Perfect weather.

Huh. What?

Murfreesboro/Rutherford CO has more than the population of Greenville and Bowling Green combined and all the things that come with that you know like running water, toilets and everything. It's something else I tell ya. You can actually take a sh1t and it goes down a little hole automatically. Never seen anything like it. Even some shopping and restaurants if you can believe that. And it's 30 minutes from a major metro.

At least Greenville is two hours from the OBX, but that isn't exactly in Greenville, so please tell me what Greenville has that Murfreesboro doesn't. I didn't follow the logic of your post.

A few bad seasons? All of our road games were in the midst of of the transition, the 1-23 stretch or coming off of an 0-4 start to the year. We had no need to come down, we were blowing until 3 seasons ago. Your hoops fans were non existent until the last couple of games. When you are losing the biggest part of your fanbase will not make the trip.

You guys traveled poorly from the start. You were 2-1 and had the excitement of moving up to D-1 and brought maybe 500-1000 people year one. It never got better. I am hoping that changes this year.

Nope. Pretty sure I used it the correct way.

No one was overly excited. Everyone knew we would get hammered during the transition. There was no incentive to travel.

This sounds like Excuse Making 101. We will see this weekend. There is no acceptable excuse for poor travel this week.

You jungle rats are ones to talk, minus your band, your crowds at the houchens (and for sure in Diddle) are pathetic. And those are your season making games, "Super Bowls" if you will.

Yep, you're right.

The population has increased nearly 50% since 2000, all those peoole moved there because the city has literally nothing going for it right?

Different publications have given both the city of Murfreesboro and the university multiple accolades, including best places to live lists, best places to raise a family lists, best value in a public university lists, etc because the city has literally nothing going for it, right?

A city with nearly double the population, ~60% higher median income, and ~30% higher median home value than Bowling Green has literally nothing going for it, right?

C'mon dude, be better than the dumb sorority girl who uses literally to describe everything.

"We're your Super Bowl"

Suppose we're hitting all the rivalry cliches in this thread.

This game is big for both schools and will only continue to get bigger, we are each other's biggest rivals and that isn't changing.
