So are we just going to put up random dragons and call them Blaze? Because that doesn't look anything like the Blaze logos/drawings. Severely disappointed.

He actually looks more fierce with the restraints on him.

Maybe we should learn that Blaze doesn't make a good statue, and have a statue of something else, like a decent statue of Bartow outside the building and not the shark victim statue inside the building.

Nobody liked the other one, either, but it grew on us. I'm with MB. How 'bout a statue of Coach Bartow.

Compared to the mascot statues at other schools, ours is the most colorful... that's about all I can say about it.

If they would construct a generic dragon statue, it would look better, but they seemed to be committed to Blaze, and he's lovable, not badass.

...which would be great for intimidation and image, but maybe not so much for making small children excited to come to Bartow for a game.

Having that hanging outside the visitors' locker room in an OCS would be a nice effect, though.

I'm sure if anyone were to pony up the $$$,$$$, you could get any design you want. I'd guess a bronze one would be about 4-6 times the cost.

I want to defer full comment until I see him in person. I do think this one is better than the invisible one that has been residing there the past few months.
