Props to soccer
Women's team 4-0, and the men's 2-0 after beating 2 teams that were getting top 25 votes.

The men look like they're going to do their usual. Start off well, screw around and lose a few they shouldn't, and bounce back late.
The women's program may turn some heads at the conference level, and hopefully they'll never schedule Alabama aTm or whoever that was again. If you're beating a team at the college level 12-0, you shouldn't be playing them.

If you're beating a team 12-0 in soccer, I would make sure the other team knows what sport you're playing. Holy crap.

RE: Props to soccer
Figure we can use this as a catch-all thread for soccer.

Hannah Short scored a hat trick against the Citadel in a 5-3 win on Sunday. The last one was her 20th, making her the second single-season 20-goal scorer under Sayers (Ramey Kerns scored 21 in 2012). For perspective, Short was recruited as a center back, and prior to Sayers, only five players had scored 20+ in their entire careers (the single-season record was 12 before Kerns shattered it). So not only has she made a seemingly impossible switch, she has done so with improbably good results.

The women's team has already obliterated all the program's offensive records, needs one more win to break that record, and they're just two points out of first with three games to play. Of course, it all means nothing if they can't win in the conference tournament.

The men are very much a rebuilding team. Graduating seven starters and losing your head coach does that to you, but there's still lots of potential there for Oshoniyi to draw out. They should be a lot better next year.
