And we were loud! Had several NCSU fans come up to us and say we could be heard all game long...until their fans finally decided to wake up late in the 4th. Great to see up show up with the intensity, but would have liked to see more fans make the trip.

I think we are going to bring huge numbers (considering our fan base size) to both GT and GaSt.
I think you bring a lot to GT and not as many to GSU. Games are too close together and right now the AF game is selling more tickets than the GS game. Its asking fans to pay for two trips in a 40 day period.

Well we have a lot of alumni in the Atlanta area, not a big deal for me to get on Marta to either local game and it's an easy trip from those leaving in middle or South Georgia

Do we know the kickoff time for Ga st game?
None yet. I am hoping for a night game

I think football should be played at 3pm, won't complain about a night game

Night games are better for G5. Get out of the way of big boys and lets students tailgate all day

How does NeuLion stay in business?
They must rely on iron clad contracts signed by gullible
universities.

We'll have fans there, our fan base is huge in the ATL metro area, so making 2 trips to that area won't be an issue. Our fan base just likes to wait closer to game week to purchase tickets......not really big advance ticket sales

It's not like tickets will be hard to get at the Dome. I expect a lot of people just plan on walking up and purchasing them.

I fully expect to be outnumbered in the Dome. However, do you think the outcome of the GT game will have an effect on the attendance in the Dome?

No really, that's like comparing apples to oranges, to me.

I don't think a loss will affect it much, since most people know we aren't "supposed" to win this one. A win at GT will definitely increase our attendance at home and at Da Dome.

The greater effect if its a big crowd would be on the other two FBS programs in state 05-stirthepot

I think we are going to bring big numbers to both Atlanta games.

I know a bunch of people going to both. For me, it is really about the same distance (actually even a little closer) to go to Atl as to make it to Statesboro.

What ever you announce is fine with me, but I saw that crowd and I dont believe GAST pulled anywhere near 10k buts in seats.

But - It was a Wednesday regardless of their record.

Attendance will get better. Especially with an in state conference team now.

Good luck gast... till we invade the Dome.
When we do, remember that it ISN'T YOUR's! I'm a Falcons fan, and I consider that Stadium mine to. Eagles will own the Dome on that day/night or whenever we kickoff. You can count on a big shot in the attendance arm.

We only announced 6k butts in seats. Georgia State has been reporting the actual attendance as well as the reported attendance(tickets sold) for at least a year now.

Oh, Ok. Thought I saw a Ga State poster quote 10k plus on that game in this thread.

Yeah, 10k is tickets sold or "Announced Attendance". That's the number most programs would tell the world.

Even thought South doesn't have a home game this week, our first home game is Miss St, we should see a 40k for that game. Especially if Miss St is ranked and we get a win at Kent this coming weekend.

I would rather have a local FCS then one from across the country due to them being able to bring in fans of their own. Just makes for a better experience.

what makes you think that?? You haven't been paying attn. for the last umpteen years??

How many times are we going to rehash this. GT cant sell out their stadium because they suck and because they are elitist. They are content with the fact that their fan base is Tech Men (and now Women) exclusively. You never see a kid walking around town with a Tech Jersey...ever...unless their parents went there. We will be fine. Its a city of 6 freakin million with 125k plus local alumni. Win and they show up. Dont win and they do not. Welcome to big city schools. Ask USF.

you must be the same guy that figures ga. state attendance as no way atlanta has 6 mil. they are way down the city size list from dallas and dallas only has a little over 1 mil.

LOL

Dallas is #7 at 7.2M
