They might beat the crap out of us. But its one of those things you just kind of have to see for yourself.

NDSU is very good...but they also got taken to the wire by Georgia Southern twice. Beating Iowa State is not going to make me think they are world beaters. Iowa State is not very good.

Other than K State they've played the bottom of the FBS.

Puzzling how they've done this.

Meh, not really.

They obliterated a Dan LeFevour led CMU team that won the MAC.

Beat a couple of halfway decent Minnesota teams (5-7ish wins)

K-State win a year ago was impressive.

I believe even the year they beat Ball State, BSU had a winning record.

CMU that year went 8-6 and won a down MAC, getting killed by all OOC opponents, congrats.

Most perennial FCS powerhouses don't get those type of games is the point, they are left to play the top half of the Big Ten, SEC, and ACC.

I have to agree with this. They have some good fans but they have some of the biggest trolls and morons on the sports messages boards out there.

NDSU blew their chance at FBS football when they weren't interested in the dying WAC. The WAC was willing to take just about anyone and they were closer to the footprint to most.

True but say Texas State received its only possible invitation before they were ready. Seems like every program has a period where there on the fence. They haven't been FCS for very long.

They could absolutely compete in FBS. Geography is their biggest enemy as there are really no FBS conferences that make geographic sense for them.

No FCS conference makes sense either, travel is expensive no matter the conference. They should be the MAC's next target if they ever need to add.
