2014 SBC Power Rankings and Predictions (a day or so late) - Preseason.
When App St and Georgia Southern were in the SoCon, I did a weekly power rankings/predictions. I still do so since ETSU (my alma mater) moved into the SoCon and rightfully. Please forgive me for the lateness of my predictions. Here is where I see it.

1) Louisiana Lafayette - Top dog from last season starts here
2) South Alabama - Relative DI newbie quickly moving to the front of the pack.
3) Arkansas State - Will all this coaching turnover catch up with them?
4) Troy - Can Trojans make a break to the front?
5) Texas State - Relative FBS newbie making a name for themselves
6) Louisiana Monroe - Warhawks round out rest of SBC teams not named Georgia State from last year
7) Georgia Southern - Can Eagles build off last season's momentum?
8) Appalachian State - Mountaineers have some upside.
9) Idaho - returns to SBC after a lengthy hiatus
10) New Mexico State - rejoins Idaho in SBC after a lengthy hiatus
11) Georgia State - winless last year, they start here

Predictions (italicized indicated already played)
Abilene Christian @ Georgia State - played Wednesday
Wake Forest @ UL Monroe - played Thursday
Cal Poly @ New Mexico St (Upset Special of the Week) - played Thursday
Appalachian State @ Michigan (Upset Special of the Week) - Call me a homer but I have a feeling lightning will strike twice.
Troy @ UAB - Trojans take over Birmingham
Georgia Southern @ NC State - Liked the Eagles against Florida, like them here
Idaho @ Florida - Vandals not so much against Florida
Montana State @ Arkansas State - Red Wolves win in a good game prior to their hot date in Knoxville
Southern @ Louisiana Lafayette - Ragin Cajuns too much for the Jaguars
Arkansas Pine Bluff @ Texas State - Bobcats overpower the Golden Lions

Sure would not give up your day job with your predictions so far.

He didn't do too bad in the Socon stuff whenever we're there. It's probably going to be a crapshoot for everyone in our fanbases until we get a better idea of what each team is like.

Only one out of three so far. Rooting for him since he picked both
App State and GaSo to win tomorrow.
