At least this weekend I can enjoy NMSU and GaSt being in the conference as long as they can bring home the win. Now if Idaho were to shock the world, like GaSo did last year. Then I will be really happy with those three for bringing it to start this year.

Again NMSU squanders another offensive possession. It also appears the OC is calling conservative plays. But NMSU still has a 28-10 lead.

It looks like we have a pretty good sophomore QB and an impressive freshman RB. Rose finished with 147 yards rushing, 12 receiving and 2 TDs. And our young defense also cranked it up a notch in the 2nd half. Next week Georgia State.

The way NMSU played today, they beat Georgia State. But I am not counting the Panthers out now that they have a win and real confidence.

Very impressed with how we did. I have to say I was worried about our Defense.

The play by play guy on TV once was the sports guy for one of the channels in ABQ. He is also the director of the NM bowl and does a ports radio show in the morning 5 days a week in ABQ. He was a lot better then who we had last year. We have a new guy coming in who will do 3 football games and host our coaches show.

NMSU is very young. We are starting 13 freshman/sophomores, and 27 of the 44 players in our two deep are freshman/sophomores. NMSU is really young. I believe we'll return 18 starters next season. Larry Rose, the true freshman running back is going to be a stud. Ran for 149 tonight.
