One of the reforms being bandied around is allowing schools to pay part of parent transportation to bowl games (don't think lodging or meals). That would make Hawaii bad. Bahamas isn't quite so expensive a flight.

That might destroy the Hawaii bowl. Can you imagine a MTSU type getting sent to Hawaii and then having to not only pay for all the Athletic Department travel, but also pay for players families as well?

You could be out over 2 million as an athletic department for one game.
