Was a good bootleg TD just now for Sam Houston.
One TD lead again for EWU, but only @ 3 minutes left.

Combined to the 100 degree temperatures in Arkansas today. Going to be interesting to see how Montana State handles it if it remains this hot in a week. I have nightmares still about an afternoon game in Lafayette in 2010 that nearly cost both teams half their players.
Three or four years ago we played at noon down near the coast at East Carolina @ September 1st, hundreds of people had to either go to the hospital or emergency medical centers. We had @ 10,000 to 12,000 of our fans there, and many said never again that time of year, that time of day. Saw players fall flat on their faces straight down on the field passing out from heat/humidity.

Eastern Washington up 14 points scores a TD with 30 seconds left, to put them up 56 to SHSU 35. KC Keeler not a happy camper. But does shake EWU coach's hand.
With 7 seconds to go EWU intercepts the ball in the end zone.

My wife walked thru and asked "why are you watching a high school game."

It shouldn't too big of an issue. Their football players have probably been practicing in 90+ degree weather this summer.

Humidity is often the most important factor.

Many years ago I asked an oilfield pumper in Northern Montana how they endured the winter temps up there. He responded, "the coldest I've ever been in my life was in the army, stationed at Fort Polk, Louisiana. We were playing army one day in the piney woods, 40F in a drizzle, and 100% humidity. I've never been so farkin' cold in my entire life".

I think the average humidity in Bozeman reaches a high of 82% in July. No idea how that compares.

It doesn't. Temperatures are warmer on average and humidity is higher on average. Try 103 degrees with 90-100 percent relative humidity. Not the average...but that's what it can get on the wrong day.

High in Bozeman this week is 80F and humidity hits a whopping high of 65%

Vs
High inJonesboro this week is 95f and humidity hits 85%

HUGE DIFFERENCE
