Long-range weather forecasts are made by proctologists with a flashlight.

Right now it rains a least a little bit every day. As long as it doesn't monsoon right at 10:30am we'll be okay.

RE: Long range forecast not good
I have sat through UAB football games in all conditions. I sat through the game where a tornado passed within a mile of the stadium and shut down the airport. I've sat through several torrential flash floods, and I didn't even leave my seat during the game swarmed by a plague of locusts... Let it rain.

We're not playing USF on a Wednesday night. I'm not concerned.

I was there. There couldn't have been more than 200 sitting out unprotected from the rain. t bet a good friend of mine to tell this man that he was sitting in his seat. It was priceless.

Did we not have some kind of monsoon game w/ Cincy in one of our early CUSA seasons?

There was someone in my seat! I thought about going over but decided staying dry was more important

Yes. Can't remember if it was a CUSA game or just us playing Cincy though.

That was the game our QB got a personal foul for a WWF takedown on the guy that intercepted his pass

It was a CUSA game, in 2001 or 2002 I think. We had a double digit lead early, the wind came, then the rain. The rain got worse, then a tornado came, the sirens went off near the stadium, but the tornado was closer to the airport, which shut down. The band left when the sirens went off and never returned. Cincy blocked a punt and returned it for a TD in the rain, then things sort of fell apart after that the way things tended to do under Watson (and also under McGee) and Cincy won by like 20.

Thomas Cox did it against Tulane as well. I remember that game like it was yesterday.
