PS - JMU had 23,577 Saturday to see us struggle at times to beat STFU.
not bad for a day when it rained until 90 min before kickoff.
Yeah, but your administration doesn't want you to join the Sun Belt. But good crowd against St. Francis. Especially if there were threat of thunderstorms.
Thanks for that, I was wondering who Shut The F*** UP was?
I wondered last week when one of their posters wrote something about them.
Good initionals like Furman's FU has always been.

MSU got a 53-yard FG on the last play of the game to beat Central Arkansas on Saturday night. Made the trip down with a good 500 MSU fans and had a fun time at the game, not many kickers will nail a 53-yarder in that situation. Pretty awesome to see in person!

Nice win. That might put you guys into the FCS Top 25.
What do you think crowd will be like for that home game with Youngstown State this week?

We have a bye this week, so that will help us get tickets sold after our big victory and ranking. We're thinking 15,000+ for the game. Anything less would be kind of a letdown.
It's pretty amazing to think about, but we opened the stadium with 18,386, could draw 15,000+ to the Oct. 4 Youngstown game, and then the next home game is homecoming, which should be a 17,500 sellout. We could, quite feasibly, draw an average of 14,000+ per game...which is huge for us (the highest average ever in a season is 13,181 in 1996).

That would be a great average. You've got NDSU at home end of the year I noticed, that ought to bring some curious interest at worst. Maybe more if you are still winning games at a strong clip and pushing for a playoff berth.
