Rudy Playoff commerical
I've seen this several times now, and it's pretty good but I cant help but keep getting stuck on the part about...

"regardless of conference" and about it being fair and truly won on the field.

What we have now is a major step in the right direction, but it is really nothing more than a plus one right now and will exclude all G5. They can call that extra "access" bowl anything they want to, but unless it's teams included the winner advancing to the next game and towards a National Championship - then it still isn't fair and it isn't really a true playoff with access to all regardless of conference.

Just seems to be the message that they are trying to sell to the American public. I hope that in this day and age of social media, etc - that the fact that it isn't really fair to all doesn't escape the minds of the general public.

The G5 should run some commercials about expanding the playoff to give us access.

It seems like I've seen that commercial a thousand times on the SEC network since it started last night.

RE: Rudy Playoff commerical
I know they just launched, but they really run the same stuff over and over so much. I'd have thought that they would have more in stock.

I've been watching it a lot due to making sure everything is working right with the new network. We have a few different feeds running, (Analog, SD etc) - so there is a lot to check. Hard Day "at work" so far 03-wink

This is going to really be a heck of a recruiting tool for the SEC. As if they need any help.

Anybody checked out the new Sun Belt "channel" on watch ESPN yet to see if it works yet and what is on it?

Would be nice to get that in a converted live feed on every cable system in our foot print.

I checked the SBC channel on my Roku a few days ago but there was not any content available. May be a Roku issue though.

Regardless of conference... Ironic since Notre Dame isn't in one.

The SEC in HD channel 384 on Time Warner is playing the LSU -vs- Ohio State game
right now. Not sure if there are different programming for non HD as someone mentioned.

RE: Rudy Playoff commerical
they use the play on words.....ACCESS is a play on Axe the Excess....(that would be us) thus ACCESS...cause those schools in the P5 would never spell something Axcess. Because you guys are right its not an access bowl if it does not lead to advancement to challenge for the title........
Makes me think about being somewhere where something happened such as in any stadium where something big happened. Just because you have been there before or after it happens does not mean YOU WERE THERE when it happened....Access means nothing other than to placate the masses.....(that would be us little guys and congress)
