Before taking a tour last week I sort of had the feeling that we could of simply added a similar 15k sqft building much like the existing Bishop and put the money to use elsewhere. After the tour I get the feeling that more space is needed. Technology takes advantage of small spaces such as the treadmill pool and stacked closets in the equipment room that sort of rotate across with a giant dials in the center of each unit. Looks like a steering wheel on a ship that when rotated the giant racks slide into position. The main conference room is much bigger than appears in either video and the view is amazing.

I saw that one of the coaches, said that the new sound system actually shakes the FOC, that upgrade was need for years now

Maybe I have no perspective because I'm used to us not having nice things, but wow, that's a really sweet building. How cool is a submerged treadmill?

I'm with ya. I've been a Southern fan for nearly half my life and I can't believe that our decades old scoreboard was there not too long ago... When I was in school we won two national championships and they built the Bishop building and slapped up some brick. It's kind of hard to believe.
