RE: CFN 2014 SBC Teams Schedule Picks
In the other article that I shared on the forum, they make a bold prediction that Astate will beat either Tennessee or Miami, yet pick the Red Wolves to lose to both of them here.

I agree they will score the upset, but I think it'll be utah state

RB unit rankings:

"Joey Jones ran for 737 yards and five touchdowns with a few nice runs, and he should be in for a big season behind one of the Sun Belt’s best lines."

Troy: 6-6 (5-3)
ULM: 5-7 (5-3)

Georgia Southern
2014 CFN Pred: 6-6
2014 Sun Belt Pred: 3-5

Aug. 30 at NC State L
Sep. 6 Savannah State W
Sep. 13 at Georgia Tech L
Sep. 20 at South Alabama L
Sep. 25 Appalachian State W
Oct. 4 at New Mexico St W
Oct. 11 Idaho W
Oct. 18 OPEN DATE
Oct. 25 at Georgia State W
Oct. 30 Troy L
Nov. 8 at Texas State L
Nov. 15 at Navy L
Nov. 22 OPEN DATE
Nov. 29 ULM W

Someone, needs to work on their math skills, because they are listing us going 3-5 in SBC but when you look at the single games listed, Southern has predicted wins against:
1. App
2. NMSU
3. Idaho
4. GAST
5. ULM
And losses to:
1. USA
2. Troy
3. TXST
That's 5-3 in SBC play

And I'll take that, but I think we could take one of the OOC games vs. NC State or Navy

Daunting doesn't begin to describe it. Trips to both Statesboro and Boone, with the Boone trip coming at a tricky time whether wise. 4 P5 schools in OOC Play. Trip to Jonesboro and a home matchup with ULL and Texas State.

I think it was a goof. The original prediction had you guys 3-5 in SBC, but 3-1 OOC. I could see you guys upsetting one of GT, NCST, Navy, but not two of them.

I agree w/ ya, ChiefsFan, although we could surprise both NC State & Navy at the very best.....but I'm thinking we will take down just 1 of them.

Well, we'll see how it goes. I'm liking this year's ULM team more and more as fall camp progresses.

Too many questions for TXST. I'm not going to put too much stock in this review, just like I'm not going to put too much stock in our daily practice reports. I need to see the real life product on the field.

most of those picks seem ok to me except I dont see troy losing to uab. and txst could beat tulsa or navy..

They have App with four wins overall and 3-5 in the SBC. Go look at who they have App beating. Apparently, the school that shall not be named has been added to the SBC after all.

I hope you are right even though we are rivals I don't want you guys to have a terrible season I'm perfectly ok with you going 11-1 as long as we are the one. Good luck.
