Great article about the upcoming season opener. Going into these games you never bet on the FCS team, but with our defense I think it will certainly be interesting. Would love for a QB to come out firing on all cylinders with the offense that day.

Listening to today's video feature with Coach Lewis, great to hear that the green swarm concept is alive and kicking even as we're a few defensive coordinators away from its inception. Looking forward to seeing what this defense does all season.

So at this point is preseason camp over and it's just normal practices? I've really enjoyed the daily write ups and pictures that are posted, but I guess if camp is over that stops too.

In the video yesterday it looks like the endzone bleachers are going up! Getting closer to kick-off, waiting these last few days is painful.

End Zone bleachers were fully up at the scrimmage. At least I know under the scoreboard it was.

There's an additional end zone box this year on top of the South stands. I gather this will be the President's Box, and that others have contracted for the box on the East side under the old press box.

Good to see there's demand for the boxes, when these Zable upgrades come to fruition (assuming it's the plan we saw awhile ago) there are 10ish boxes to be filled.

Either Tribe4 is "directionally challanged" or I am very confused - or possibly both.

The old President's Box [under the old Press Box] on the East Side has not been used by anybody for years.

The President's Box was moved to the top of the Bleachers in the NORTH END ZONE under the canvas tent many years ago. [It is more private and offers more "flexibility" for entertaining the President's guests]. Also at the top of the BLEACHERS in the NORTH END ZONE is a privately contracted Box, also under the canvas tent, for Joe Montgomery's Optimal Service Group.

The SOUTH END ZONE BLEACHERS [underneath the Scoreboard] does not have enough depth [space behind the Bleachers] to permit the erection of a platform covered by canvas tents to serve as VIP Boxes.

The "New Press Box" is a canvas structure erected each football season behind the STANDS ON THE WEST SIDE. This new canvas Press Box is a considerable improvement over the old canvas Press Box which was located at the same spot behind the West Side Stands. Within two years, the plan is that we will have a new permenant Press Box and VIP Boxes - all located behind the present WEST SIDE STANDS.

If you look on the seating charts they've taken away some of the bleacher seating under the scoreboard for a box.

LOL! I'm challenged in many ways, but direction is rarely one of them. The new box is on the South bleachers and occupies the top several rows of the west end pf those bleachers. It is not added on top of the South end, but rather replaces several rows of seats. I know where the presidents box has been, and have heard that, along with the space under the East press box are now corporate.

Mea Culpa - I have not looked at the seating charts!!

It is possible they are moving the Presidents Box to that location - that end of the stadium has much nicer, and closer, bathroom facilities, which, I can understand, would be considered a benefit for many of the President's guests.
