Your school opened their taps for Toledo football to get water because its the right thing to do! then you are the a-hole of mankind! Why most people will have minimal impact from this there are people that will suffer, glad you give a ****! I hope your well gets contaminated some time soon!

Lighten up, dickweed...I'm having some fun with the hysteria. You had more people impacted negatively...deaths, broken bones, herniated discs, heart attacks and so forth..in the first week of January when there was two feet of snow, 15 degree below zero temps and ice everywhere. Has this been inconvenient...yes. Has it been life-threatening? No.

And yes...I have a well an ALLLLLLLLL the water I want (which I have gladly shared with some Toledoans) so go f**k yourself... 04-cheers

And nobody gives a damn about you.

Why would we want to be Cincy when we beat them the last 3 times? Freakin' idiot.

Restaurants giving away their bottled water, people from adjoining communities bringing in water, the city doing yoeman work to get water to the most needy-people are, foor the most part, kind and generous of spirit.

I even heard a story of EMU admissions folks offering special admission to UT students who had concerns and desired to transfer to a nearby school without such public health issues. 03-lmfao

(don't quote this - it isn't true. And I'm not trying to make light of a bad public health situation. First there was the W.V. problem and now this one - twice so far this year.).

RE: Further proof that Toledo = a nice humanitarian story.

Found myself in Toledo for a baseball world series (National Amateur Baseball Federation) that my nephew was in. Woke up Sat morning with the no use news after I showered and brushed. They ended up cancelling the finals because of the water but I found myself following the story through the Blade to see how things progressed. Lots of good stories about how people pulled together from both Toledo and the surrounding areas.

7 is pretty funny himself. Not in the amusing sense, but, you know, funny.

Why doesn't Toledo have reservoirs along the Maumee? Is it because the land around there is too flat to do it without significant flooding?

Not sure where you got this info but the City of Cleveland (and nearly all areas within 20-25 miles of Lake Erie) get their water from Lake Erie. The Cleveland Water Dept has a "crib intake" about 4 miles off the shore (clearly visible from downtown). Maybe some small places do get their water from the Cuyahoga River headlands but definitely not any cities in Greater Cleveland.

LeBron gets his water from France.
