This will not be used for an on campus stadium.

That doesn't include the 50 million dropped on them last October in a single donation. But that can't be used for a stadium either.

Why are we bothering with the Brookley campus anyway? Its all in a hurricane flood zone anyway.

For what purpose? USA-Brookley is hard to get to. Secret golf course along Mobile Bay though.

The University sold the Brookley campus to the Foundation several years ago and the golf course was closed before the sale. With Airbus building an assembly facility for the A320 NEO at Brookley, the former Brookley campus land is very valuable for industrial develop. (Airbus suppliers, etc)

While all o'y'all are talking specifics of what to do with your bulging pockets, let me say that this is an impressive number. We all like to point to numbers that put our universities on top, but the most consistent number to fall back on is endowment.
