A Gap in the polls...not in perception.

I figured there would be a sizeable gap between ASU/USA and Troy because the Trojans would get the majority of the 4th place votes, and not many 2nd or 3rd place votes. Look at the numbers. ASU and USA were 4 points apart, meaning they pretty much split 2nd place votes, Troy is 14 points back, indicating they got mostly 4th place votes.

Was hoping we would be a little more overlooked than that.

Getting picked preseason #1 is a curse generally in the SBC.

The team that gets picked preaseason #1 doesn't generally end the season as such...

If the Cajuns were to beat Ole Miss they could get garner some real attention for the conference. At this point they look like the only team with the preseason respect to get them up there.
