Certainly. However, if we had experienced any modicum of success, and had a decent AD, we would be in CUSA right now with ODU and UTSA. They were calling, our AD was just too enthralled by the lavish attention Benson was throwing her way to pick up the phone (true story - her actual words to me on the subject were "it is nice to be courted").

Give it a rest. No one actually believes you guys should be anywhere other than the MEAC. Above the SB? LOL!

However, I certainly am pointing out that the media elites in Connecticut that run the CFB world absolutely do look down on it, and will never look at the Sun Belt conference as more than a collection of backwoods rednecks as long as promotions like that are going on (among other things - which is why I advocated changing the conference name). Nothing wrong with it, just don't be surprised at the reaction of the rest of the CFB world - that was my point.

I don't care what those Bristol bush beaters think, if you win, people will want to watch. Granted this particular event doesn't directly help anything in the field, it does help unite the fan base and bring a distinct cultural difference to their in state rivals.

It's unfortunate that so many transplants seeking opportunity are slowly eroding the culture that built Atlanta and disparage those that continue to defend her as the capital of the south. This despite the hardships faced in the past. The company that I work for caters to the wealthy in Atlanta and has for 150 years. Our office is located in a prominent new tower in down town Buckhead, one of the most prestigious zip codes in America. Entering the office and experiencing the atmosphere created by the interior design will take you back in time with an appreciation of the southern culture. I like the commercial. It's who we are.
