I don't think Plex is referring to the all star game. Plex is the nickname for the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. Kind of like people from the DC area calling it the DMV. There may be others, but the Tribe has interest/made offers to some Texas 2016 kids.

You're right...Think I jumped to conclusion about the Metroplex all-star game because Campbell was involved with it, but he's, also, involved with the Pangos Top 60 Camp that Oliver Powell was at. Still nice to get some local Dallas love to help with the Powell recruitment, including a related follow-up tweet:

I'm finding that many parents have forgotten the academic side of a scholarship. It has become all about the ?

Keep me straight!!

RE: 2015 Men's Basketball Recruiting Thread
I missed it from earlier, but Hunter Seacat's dad posted on twitter that hunter is 230 lbs and shooting for 240. That is a solid weight for an incoming freshman big man. Lately, our incoming bigs have been in the 200-215 range. He is also here for the summer session, which should help him get a taste of the higher competition.

Wasn't Sean Sheldon about 225 as a Freshman?

He may have been 225 his freshman year. I don't think he arrived at school that heavy. I could be wrong though.

I just remember all the PR about Sean as a HS Senior working out and bulking up so that he could hold his own with other "Bigs" on the D-1 College level.

Who here wants to go through this list and check on the current status of kids we offered?

If no one volunteers, I'll have to assign the task. ;-)

Good work Mr J. Now, I wonder who on this list may be looking to give W&M another look...especially guys who walked on at bigger programs and only ride the pine.

RE: 2015 Men's Basketball Recruiting Thread
A guy I always liked, though I have no idea if he is looking to transfer is Charles Thomas IV. He plays sparingly at Wisconsin and may want to get closer to his MD hometown.

Another guy I like is Kaleb Johnson. We were one of his final schools before Georgetown stepped in. I doubt he transfers short of a coaching shakeup since he gets meaningful playing time on a very average team.
