Happy for you. Go start a thread on the MAC site.

Not living in the past and don't think lightening will strike twice for you guys on 8/30. Lets see who has the closest margin on 8/30.

Maybe not, but you can't catch lightning in a bottle if you don't show up and play.

Compare margins of App, with mostly FCS players and 1 FBS class, vs Michigan to UMass', with 3 years recruiting at the FBS level, vs BC? That's fair. We all know 2007 was an anomaly that isn't likely to ever happen again. But we did win the game. What is UMass' marquee win? Montana the week before we toasted you guys in the NC game?

Dg, we don't need to respond to Steve unless you feel like it. He is bored and needs something to get his football blood going. I hope we play UMass someday but the two history's are night and day.

I do think UMass will be a much improved team this year. Their coaching change will prove itself .

Just to delightfully burst App's bubble, the 247 conference rankings haven't been fully updated with some of our late signees, from what I can tell.

Regardless, two great classes for two great programs. We will definitely need them to compete in this high scoring league.

Don't want to take anything away from Apps excitement of becoming FBS and ability to recruit quality players.

App has us hands done in the 21st century.

Best FBS win, because it's a rival was against Boston College 27-0 win in 1978. Best FCS win since it was the National Title game was against Georgia Southern in 1998.
History of BC-UMass scores

Wish the best for App and hope we meet again on the field.

You might want to wait and make sure they all enroll.
