It's been a big day for Appalachian State... a little bit bigger than some may have expected!

Not only are we now full members of the Sun Belt Conference, but we have made some big changes elsewhere

Appalachian State welcomed its newest, and first female, chancellor today, Dr. Sheri Noren Everts.

Appalachian State also welcomed a newly updated Yosef, one which reflects the logo better than it has in the past. A new AppStateSports.com is also up.

The Sun Belt is going to be great this year and for many years to come. Go Sun Belt! Go Appalachian!

This Yosef looks a lot better than that bald headed, rhinoceros nosed, evil corner eyed, corncob smoking secondary
logo image the AD in all his infinite wisdom brought back a few months ago. The one we buried 40 years
ago and he dug up by the light of the moon.

I prefer this new Yosef

You probably know that our mascot is named Yosef
from "Your Self"
with it being the students, alumni, fans etc. being
the mascot.

They had to for PC purposes probably an old guy hanging with students, kind of eerie. So when they brought back our old Yosef logo as a secondary they made the change. The old secondary logo may be bald headed but has black beard and what hair he has, to go with the evil eye and Danny Thomas nose, but looks younger. We will get rid of that one again, sooner or later. Really would like us to go back to a real live Yosef and do away with the fake heads.
