But the first opportunity for a home night game is Oct 25th and I doubt that would happen for a MAC contest that late in the year.

I definitely expect these to be used for the NIU game.
If that is true and they give us a heads up I would not be surprised if we use our OB red pants (aka santa pants) with our white jerseys.

New helmets, and new pants. Wore red with the black unis prior.

They look okay, I guess, but they aren't Ball State colors. Ball State is white and red.

Alternate uniforms in a tertiary color (or an accent color usually silver or grey) I think is fine but to go with black just because it's what kids like or think looks "cool" comes across as desperate or overreaching, IMO.

Although, they look 100 times better than whatever threw-up on those Miami uniforms in the pic posted.

EDIT: I guess I have a problem with it because of white being an official color. Black could be an accent color and if BG, or Buffalo, or Toledo had black uniforms they wouldn't look off to me, but Ball State does. I think of other "white and red" teams like Wisconsin and Nebraska, if either of those teams came out with a black and red uniform it would look off and wrong. Is that wierd?

Great looking uni's- the matte black helmets are class.
