I have no idea what they're doing at LAX ... but found it interesting.
My guess is they are trying to sell their plane?

it must be an airport meeting. Idaho is in discussions with another conference. After two
years of wanting into the Sun Belt, even claiming they would beg if it helped, and them due
to enter the Sun Belt tomorrow, they are playing footloose and fancy free. Of course, it
could be they flew it there for more specific maintenance or upgrades, particularly since
school is out right now. I used to fly out of Charlotte but occasionally flew to another airport
for something specific. Bet they are joining the Pac-12, MWC, or the FCS Big Sky. Joke will
be on us.
Passenger airline why someone posted it who knows ?
I commented back to the PAC as a response to someone else's joke.
That makes some sense though, in a way, since Idaho used to be in what is now the PAC-12.
See where Washington State is willing to do a yearly home and home if Idaho gets the Kibbie up to mid 20's. Hope that happens for you.

One day, when I'm filthy & unapologetically rich, that's going to be the livery on my G650

I think they make those things just down the road from where I live. Heck, Georgia Southern's football stadium is named after the guy who built the company that builds them. He gave a lot of support to GS over the years.

Indeed! Gulfstream's main production plant and corporate headquarters is right here in Savannah, Ga! Paulson didn't build the company. In the 70s Gulfstream (which was actually known as Grumman at the time) merged with a company ran by Paulson. But he was the CEO twice!
I work out there and get to see these planes every day. I never really looked at planes before I started out here, but I believe these are the most beautiful aircraft out there. Gulfstreams are just so sexy! If I ever hit the lottery I'd love to get me a G450.
