Looking forward to the new challenges for the Sun Belt

With four new football members it will be a new world.

Look at it from App's end. We have history with GaSo, but very little with Troy and one game with Texas State. Besides that everyone else is new. We've always been in a bus conference, going back to the NAIA days in the North State Conference. Now our closest rival is 300 miles away in Atlanta. At least GaSo has more history with the SBC members.

Looking forward to seeing new teams and playing at places where football is important.

It is a new world for us and Appalachian. It is different pulling for other conference members and trying to get as many into bowl games as possible. We all benefit if the Sun Belt wins every one of its non-conference games that it can.

The whole dynamic of multiple teams ending the year with wins is so different from the playoff format of FCS.

I believe that is the first time we've seen a conference advertisement without the WKU logo. Kind of strange.

Definitely was irritated/aggravated by the fact we lost UNT/MTSU and especially western but I've since moved on and look forward to the future with the new belt

definitely excited for football season. Wanna see how the new lineup fares out of conference first of all, then how my team can build me with such hope one week, only to make me wonder if we belong in FBS the next.

With WKU leaving the US scattering will look a lot like a reverse big dipper.

Yeah, before they were admitted the talk was never Idaho again.
Lot of talk about travel there and they finally didn't have to.
Glad to have them with us in a lot of ways though.

Where did you make that conference map? Pretty sharp.

I like 2014 Sun Belt better than 2005 Sun Belt or the 2001 Sun Belt as far as potential but the last two years have set a tougher standard.
