just wanted to thank erryone for the times and for putting up with me through my not so kinder and gentler years.

i've been a member of this board for several years and was on the arkstfan board before that.

arkstfan and i actually go back to the early 90's when Prodigy (an ISP like AOL back in the day) had a sun belt message board. you would post something and check back the next day to see any replies.

imo message boards are dying as the twitter seems to have taken over. limiting to 140 characters is good in the case of some. that said, i'll still use 'em just like the mennonites here in parts of south central ky still use buggies and horses.

i've met some very cool people when i've gone on road trips and don't want to name them because in my old age i'd forget someone and most people know i'm a sensitive caring type and would never want to hurt someone's feelings.

i've said all along i think the sun belt did as good as it could and the replacements for football, ga southern and app state will be good at the fbs level. at western we'll fire a hoops coach midseason (we did a football coach the same for that matter) if they suck. i believe both of those schools would do the same in football. their identity is football and they live for it. good, good pickups for the belt.

i've tried not to get caught up in the recent hate over western leaving. it's not everybody and i remind myself when someone is acting silly. it was a good move for US simply because of hoops and reuniting with middle and uab and charlotte and odu.

i wish everybody the best except for ga state hoops. lol. just kidding. i've said over and over as long as hunter is there they'll be good. very good.

sun belt football is definitely on an upward arc. can't say the same about hoops but that's okay too. nobody cares. baseball has always been good and will continue to be good. nobody really cares about any other sport. and that's definitely okay with me.

football, hoops, and baseball. what i give a crap about.

i apologize if i've offended you by my way too cynical nature and my way too salty language.

i know this is a few days early but i don't give a crap about that either.
