My kids know what Gays are, they know not to tease or taunt or bully. I don't need the school to do that and I don't want a teacher who's world views may radically differ from my own to talk about sexuality with my 5yo!

She is seven now but when they were five they knew that sometimes two women or two men decide to get married. (They had a kid with gay parents in their class).

It's told to them in the following context:

Issue hasn't come up yet with my 5 yo, though we were watching Big Brother last night and one of the contestants is a stereotypical flamer with pink hair. My son asked what was wrong with him. I just said he is a freak. Then he asked what a freak was so I Googled it and showed him the image results. He did have a kid in his preschool last year being raised by two bull-dykes but he never asked the question so we didn't bring it up.
