Games I'm looking forward to watching each SBC Member play
Georgia State: Air Force
With all kidding and joking aside, this is going to be the young bloods first big time nonconference home game, pitting them against Mountain West member, the Air Force Falcons. I'm curious as to whether Panthers fans will show up for this one (not to mention being able to compete all four quarters).
La-La: Louisiana Tech
Always enjoy watching instate battles against FBS teams, and no doubt that their's no respect nor love loss between these two Louisianan programs. Though the Cajuns maybe the Red Wolves #1 rival in conference, the enemy of my enemy is my friend as the old saying goes so until that fateful October matchup, I'll be pulling for the Cajuns.
ULM: Wake Forrest
The Warhawks did it last year in Winston-Salem...can they pull off the sweep in the confines of Malone Stadium?
Troy: Duke
This is a big moment for the Trojans to earn some more national recognition by getting an opportunity to knock off the Cinderella's of 2013 the Dukies.
New Mexico State: Idaho
Very very tempting to pick either the battle of I-10 (UTEP) or the Rio Grande Rivalry (New Mexico) but I'm going with their matchup against the Vandals-both will be looking to get the upper leg on the other in conference play and that intrigues me.
Texas State: @Tulsa
Though I'm sure Bobcats fans are hyped for the Navy game, to me I'll be tuning into their trip to Golden Hurricane land as it's not only a great opportunity for a SBC team to knock off an American member but a measuring stick as to how competitive the San Marcos boys are going to be.
Georgia Southern & Appalachian State: Each other...duh.
Must say...from the various highlight videos and motivational clips I watched on youtube from this rivalry, I'm very excited to see these battles continue within the 'Belt, starting this year!
Idaho: @ULM
The last time a Vandal squad competed in the Sunbelt as a member was on November 13, 2004 in a 51-29 beat down loss delivered by the North Texas Mean Greenies. Fast forward nearly ten years later and they're back, with their return conference game being played in Monroe.
South Alabama: Mississippi State
Alright Jaguars... you're two seasons into the Belt, beginning your third this fall. Starting to get some hype from various preseason magazines and online college football sites-after what I'm assuming will be a victory over the Golden Flashes, time to see if you can prove the beat writers correct and do what your instate brethren couldn't-beat the Bulldogs at home.
Arkansas StAte: Utah State
Former conference rivals (Big West AND Sunbelt) believe it or not, both have had the share of rocky stretches and both have had extreme high moments, especially the last three seasons. Much like the Texas State/Tulsa game, this will be a measuring stick for the pack to see not only how they compare with the MWC defending champs, but as to how they'll be in the 14 season.

Until UL falls far enough behind it won't matter I will be rooting for SBC team they are playing that week. Looking forward to our game with them and it being played with the offense we should be using. Unlike last year.

Besides any game Idaho plays I am most interested in Louisiana playing Boise.
Also Utah State and Arkansas State a winning conference record vs MWC would be sweet.
Hopefully Idaho can beat the Aztec's .
The biggest in conference win would be Arkansas State since we don't play Louisiana.

Im jealous that ULM is getting Wake in a home game, in the mid-90's the App/Wake game in Winston Salem was the biggest game of the year for both teams, one of the few games Wake sold out each season. They killed the series in the late 90's because we won 3 or the last 6 games against them, but they used the excuse they needed to schedule more quality FBS teams.....right. One of the reasons I wanted to move up was hoping that the series could be restarted.

I really like the OOC matchups across the league. We have a good opportunity to stay atop the non-AQ leagues again by getting it done in these games.
BTW, I expect Southern Miss and NC State to improve over last year but do not be surprised to see App State or Georgia Southern take down these teams.

I'm excited to see us take on App State and Georgia Southern. Obviously I'll be watching App State @ Michigan, and ULL @ Boise State. In the last case, I'm hoping for a total implosion for BSU.
