Looking forward to watching some of the games. A national championship in a major sport would be great for the Belt. I know this Warhawk is pulling for you guys, as I think most are. Interestingly enough a Cajun fan posted something on Twitter about how sick all the Arkansans (ULMers) must be about the Cajuns beating Miss State and winning the regional. A ULM baseball player responded with the feelings of most ULM fans. He basically said:

I don't think i watched a single college baseball game in the regular season, but I love the ncaa tournament.

watched a lot of the regionals last weekend and very much looking forward to this weekend's Supers and next weeks CWS.

on a side note, did any of you guys check out the Bases Loaded channel on ESPN?

great idea, terrible execution. They switched games way too often. Baseball is not like hoops. you can't switch after a couple pitches. You need to stick with a game and absorb it some. And I might have strangled Dari Nowkhah if i had been in the room with him. We didn't need to hear you pimp out Bases Loaded every time you opened your mouth. We get it. It's where you can see all the action and that you take us around the country to show us every game. Just show us the games and shut your trap! Rant over. :-)

This is a big opportunity for the conference. The more they win, the more it will help with perception and future bids for the rest of us.

They've already helped that so far. So start cheering.
