Testing my freshman year memory, but I think our 3 main starting pitchers were Justin Gannon, Jack Munley and Dennis Knight ( who also played in the field). Losing at home was a rarity back then.

By any chance did Roger Clemens pitch that shutout game against us for Texas?

If you look at the notable at the bottom, you'll see Barry Bonds, Barry Larkin and John Farrell as participants, in addition to Roger Clemens. Pretty good baseball company, not necessarily people in some cases.

I'm confused about why they show our record as 0-0 and N/A for highest CWS place when at the same time showing us in the CWS.

If you look at the dates listed for all of the other teams, it looks like it's only referencing prior CWS appearances up to that year.
