RE: Question to the Newbies...
Cajuns game should be interesting. Had them 28-7 before the wheels fell off.

RE: Question to the Newbies...
My favorites will center around our home games, although the game against App. St. has my interest. Can't wait to go to Boone, N.C. sometime - that place looks beautiful, but probably won't make it this year.

Fav games for this year:

NMSU in the Kibbie Dome (homecoming)
stAte in the Kibbie Dome

I'm also interested in visiting San Marcos Tx. for a game - that place looks like a great time.

As far as new opponents - I'm looking forward to UL-Monroe.
First real FBS/FBS matchup in Paulson Stadium - a team that some recognize as the teams that beat Arkansas and went overtime/should have beat Auburn. This game will be fun to attend for me.

Rekindling an old fight with Troy has it's draw and I think would be a marque win if we can pull it off and would help us make a statement that we are here to challenge for the SBC East (whenever that comes to be), especially if we beat App.

Long term from the other side, I'm most interested in playing the Cajuns. Looking forward to the Tailgating down there and having those guys at "Our House". This matchup has major potential as a future big rivalry and pivot point on who claims the SBC title. (No disrespect intended to App/Troy/Ark State or anyone else).

Obviously we have to be looking forward to the Ark St games when we get them - we go way back and promises to be another pivotal weekend for the conference when our two teams meet most of the time.

So glad to be in this conference.

What was I thinking? Sorry - been working 12hour plus shifts this week.
That's our last game of the season. First real FBS/FBS would be App - but again other than them - looks like for a Saturday game with the whole day to let it simmer we are looking at Idaho for that.

Still am going to enjoy the ULM game. "Raptor Rampage"?
