Sad but inspiring story
Some of you that frequent our message boards may be familiar with this story, but I wanted to share it over here. I couldn't imagine what this young man went through over the past week. And it is amazing that he performed like he did. Unreal

RE: Sad but inspiring story
That is sad. Doubt I could do that.
Hats off to him. Hopefully it helped him as well.

RE: Sad but inspiring story
Put it in perspective: The kid lost his mother and put forth an unprecedented performance in SoCon tournament history. 6 appearances in 5 days for a total of 13.1 innings and a start in one of the doubleheader games on Saturday. Jason is definitely a strong individual and he's in Eagle nation's thoughts and prayers. He definitely earned his title of Tournament MVP. The entire team attended the service yesterday as well. You could see it in his eyes and during the bottom of the 3rd inning he called the entire dugout out to get them to clear their minds and focus.
