Maybe the state will bail them out. It recently kicked in $900,000 to help with the cost overruns on their stadium renovation.

According to this, they actually had a line in the budget for sinkhole remediation. That's pretty forward-thinking.

I'm glad for them. I've said it a few times, they've haven't ever had crap up there. I drove around their stadium back in the winter months and poked around, the old home stands and what will eventually be the visitor's side is really sad. Concrete stands corroding, paint faded and just beat down.

Looks like the sinkhole was more in the track than the football field.. that's another reason to not have a track around your football field.. you could be running and turn the corner... and.. fall into a big hole...

They say they'll have it fixed in time for football. From that video you can really see how bad the old home side had fallen into disrepair. I hope they do another phase where they atleast try to fix up that side a little bit, either with paint, patchwork on the concrete, or something.
TSU's facility is worse, though.
