I feel your pain. We left 13 on base in a loss to you guys in the regular season.

I will say congrats to USA your team played very well. It was a pleasure watching the top two pitchers in the conference battle. Campbell came up big when needed and Hamilton was let down in the bottom of the 7th. This is a great rivalry but I think the fans are getting out of control on both sides. To me it takes away from the hard work the ladies and coaches are putting in. See you in the finals I would wish you good luck but I'd be lying but do stay healthy.

Louisiana Lafayette is hosting a regional regardless. With a win today I think USA does too. This is a tough game to win, but I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. I would LOVE to see both USA and Louisiana Lafayette not only host a regional, but advance to the supers. And how cool would it be to have 2 teams at the WCWS?

I guess it ended up the way it should with #1 vs. #2 for championship tomorrow as Louisiana vs. South Alabama.

Georgia Southern was beaten twice today in UNC-Greensboro for a disappointing end to the season. UNC-Greensboro vs. Chattanooga for SoCon softball championship tomorrow.

We ended season at 35-21, which is a nice year but all in likelihood it is over now. We were RPI 56 before the tourney so that is going to fall short.

Indeed, the Warhawks made a good run of it, eliminating three different teams before having to pack their own bags (good game, Cajuns). We had only one senior starter and the SBC Freshman of the Year so 2015 should be better.

Yep. We were relegated to the pitcher, player, and coach of the year to go with the real freshman of the year. We do have two seniors though, but next year we'll only hs 've two juniors once again.

Interesting. I didn't know they awarded a "real" freshman of the year award outside the actual award. Congrats to the Cajuns, you have a heck of a team. I'm proud of our girls after being picked last in the conference. They fought hard. By the way, can you guys ever show any sportsmanship and class or do you have to down ULM at every turn, even after a win?

So if Haley Hayden wins NFCA FOY since she is a top 10 finalist, I would think winning the best freshman of the year in the entire country will just prove how petty the Belt coaches can be.

Arrowhead, none of us has anything against your fine freshman player. She is very good, and we would love to have her on our team. That being said, she is not as good as Haley Hayden, who has much better numbers against better competition.

This is a case of SBC coaches being petty. I has nothing to do with your player or your team. If Hannah Campbell had been named Pitcher of the Year, you would not have heard anything from Cajun fans.

"IF". If she does congrats to her, but don't take away from our girl or team. The Cajuns are clearly the better team, but our girls played tough in the tournament and I'm proud of them. Watched online and must say how impressed I am at your softball complex. Better than lots of NCAA baseball stadiums.

Arrowhead, you have a lot to be proud of for your girls in this tournament. They clearly came to play, and they played extremely well.

In all honesty I don't keep up with softball enough to argue. Good luck in the tourney and regionals. Would be pretty cool to have a SBC national champ in softball and baseball. Pull a UConn in basketball.

Congrats to the Sun Belt for running a tournament with ethics.

Unlike the OVC which has just screwed over TTU, EKU, and EIU by canceling the consolation Tournament. EKU, EIU, and TTU lose 1 game and get eliminated while Morehead State and JSU lost twice before being eliminated.

EKU AND EIU were in the second inning when both were eliminated.

Congrats to the Cajuns who win 4-1 in the championship game. There is no "if necessary" game so this was a winner take all.

Go luck to both teams in the regionals!

What a great game three the best pictures in the country played in this game. I really hope this is the last time we have to face Hannah Campbell he is a stud pitcher. Good luck USA in the regionals.
